Design
SFX CreationPrimarily found in the context of theatrical performance, the sound design process consists of determining what sounds are needed for a given production, followed by either sourcing pre-created material or generating it entirely from scratch. This material can be anything from pre-show music to realistic ambiance to sound effects that contribute to telling a story.
|
System SetupIn order for sound design to effectively function in the context of a live performance, the sound system must be setup in such a way that the audio is accurately and realistically portrayed to the audience. This requires intentional speaker placement, specific routing, and natural system tuning to pull off the effects in a way that seamlessly blends with reality without being consciously noticed or—at worst—distracting.

Production
Recording & ProducingSongwriters often struggle to bridge the gap between what they hear in their head and what they actually want the final recorded track to sound like. Musicians are often great performers who lack any substantial understanding of how to record their live events. In any event, Adam has the knowledge and equipment necessary for the job.
|
Mixing & MasteringRaw recordings are often muddied and unbalanced and require a well-trained ear that can mix each element of a recording together to create a more coherent, polished track. Also, when putting multiple tracks together for a collection or album, it also becomes necessary to master the project as a whole in order to balance tracks against one another dynamically and tonally.
